The view off the tee is dominated by trees that affect the landing area and the flight path of the tee shot. This is also a classic risk/reward hole. Bombs away with the driver will make it easy to reach the green in two. But the landing area is a narrow neck where the large trees and grass bunkers on the right converge. This hole is one of three on Victory Links featuring these unique grass bunkers.
Approach the green from the left to avoid the greenside bunkers on the right. An interesting design feature of hole #2 is that the silver, red and yellow tees actually play shorter than hole #1 even though it is a par 5.
