Westen is a 9 year old boy who was with his family when they were hit head on. He spent over 50 days in the ICU at Children’s. He will now have several months of physical therapy and a few more surgeries to get him back to being a busy 9 year old. He’s involved in several youth sports in Blaine so not being able to compete is tough on him. This golf tournament is being held to raise funds for the family to cover medical and other expenses.

As a part of the National Sports Center foundation and a state non profit, we are continually looking at ways to provide programs to youth and amateur sports enthusiasts of all ages. To offer our programs at reasonable costs to individuals and families in our state, we rely on the continued generosity and support of donors.
Victory Links’ goal is to provide sports programs to our Minnesota residents, while maintaining a commitment to the game of golf, and the development of young people through the game. Our First Tee program runs throughout the year to provide access to the game to ALL youth interested. With over 10,000 juniors participating in events at VLGC, we are one of the busiest in the state. We provide free scholarships to those unable to pay for these programs. We also provide access to our world class facility through YMCA programs, Community Park and Rec programs, and all youth organizations looking to open the game of golf to a young person.
Come join us for a great day of golf and support the NSC foundation and the game of golf!
